I visited Washington DC the year of his Anniversary, standing at the top of the stairs at his monument admiring this great man and his accomplishments.
His love for mankind and the cause he died for.
I was humbled and also grateful to live in this great country.
I wanted to create something special to commemorate this great man. I grabbed my camera and went to work.
2 Month later it was complete. I presented this Vase to the Lincoln Library in Springfield, it is now on display
at the adjacent Lincoln Museum.
The front shows the President in his marble chair and on the left I engraved his Gettysburg address.
On the right I engraved his tomb and on the backside his humble birthplace in Kentucky.
Above the old house I engraved a poem he wrote about his childhood.
Each of the panels on the base is engraved with the American Eagle and dates commemorating each event.
